Rick Flowers- Senior Pastor:

Rick hails from Winchester, Virginia.  He accepted Christ at the age of 20 during a morning service at the Shenandoah Valley Baptist Church in Stephens City, Virginia.  His life was transformed by God’s grace and the Lord led Rick to transfer from a secular college to Liberty University.  While at Liberty, he completed his Bachelors and Masters degrees.  More importantly, Rick met his wife Rasha there.  They have served the Lord together in churches in TN, NC, MI and FL.  Rick accepted God’s call to serve at Countryside in September of 2017.  The Flowers are excited to be a part of this thriving ministry. Their daughter Ally and her husband Matt and daughter Elena currently live in the Boston, MA area.

personel bio picPatrick O'Tuel- Associate Pastor/Youth Director:

Patrick was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. He was saved in March 2002, after reading the gospel and realizing his need for the Savior. God called him to preach January 12, 2003 and since then it has been his passion. He has completed two years of Pastoral Theology at Victory Baptist Bible College in North Augusta, South Carolina while serving as Youth Pastor at South Haven Baptist Church. In March of 2008, he married his best friend and high school sweetheart, Kathryn.  In October of 2008, Pastor Wilson  offered him the opportunity to work with the youth at Countryside. After much prayer and counsel, he then started in full time ministry beginning January 1, 2009 at CBC.  He was ordained into the Gospel Ministry on October 13, 2011. He loves working at CBC full-time along with his wife Kathryn as they minister and disciple the children and youth of Countryside.  He looks forward to the many years ahead that God will use him to fulfill His Purpose while enjoying the lessons of fatherhood from their very active and adorable children, Luke, Emma and Rory.

personel bio picLarry Bukowiec- Assimilation Pastor/Music Director:

Larry was saved at the age of 10 at a VBS that was being held at Southside Gardens Baptist Church in Savannah, Georgia. When he married his wonderful wife, Jennifer, in October of 1992, it put him on a journey of lay ministry for 20 years. Much of that time he owned a wood flooring business that cultivated in him a desire to study leadership principles, which in turn, ignited his passion for the church while investing in the lives of others through serving as a Deacon, Worship Leader and Sunday School Teacher.  He and his family started attending Countryside in 2006, and shortly after that became an active member serving the church where needed. In January of 2013, he was given the opportunity of going into full time ministry as the Assimilation Pastor; focusing on administrative matters and helping others get involved in the growing work of CBC.  He was ordained a short time later.  He is passionate about the gospel, the local church, his wife Jennifer and their two children, Chloe and Trevor.
