Countryside Baptist Church began in 1984 as a mission work in a garage of someone’s home.  In 1988, they moved to the current property and purchased 4.86 acres.  A small building was built that housed a sanctuary and later that building was expanded to include educational space and nurseries.  In 1995, the church was incorporated.  In 2000, the church added an additional 10,000 sq. ft. facility. It was originally built to be a Sunday school area and a 180 seat auditorium.

In 2006, the church was renovated to a 10,000 sq. ft. facility including a new auditorium, taking the seating capacity from 180 to 400 seats. In 2008, the church purchased 2 additional acres to be used for the future expansion, giving the church 6.68 acres and approximately 18,000 sq. ft. of facilities.

With the addition of the 2 acres, and continued growth, the church began a capital fund raising campaign in October 2008. Then, 3 years later, with over one million dollars in the bank, the church broke ground on a new worship center in February 2012. On December 2, 2012 CBC moved into a new 26,000 sq. ft. building which houses a 1,000 seat auditorium, a conference room, two nurseries, a large Couple’s Class and three areas for teens to fellowship and learn the Word of God. CBC now is looking to purchase two more acres of land for future expansion.

During this same ten year period, the church has also purchased, with cash, a 45 passenger activities bus, added sidewalks, landscaping, parking blocks, new baby grand piano, and renovated the Kids Worship Center. The church has spent over 1.7 million dollars in capital improvements. In addition, during the last ten years, the church has seen over 1,000 people who have trusted Christ as their Savior. With God’s blessings, the church has seen over 1000% growth. With only 30 people in attendance that first service in 2003, the church now averages a weekly attendance of over 400 in 2013, with over 900 people attending this last Easter.
