- What should I expect when I attend a service?
- Do you have a ministry for children and teenagers?
- What version of the Bible do you use?
- What type of music can I expect to hear?
- Is there a dress standard?
- How big is your church?
- Who leads the church?
On Sunday mornings, we meet together for worship at 10:00 am. Sunday School is on Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm. The song portion of our service lasts for about 20 minutes, while the remainder of the time is spent listening to Bible preaching. Each of our services last approximately an hour.
We have a very well-established children and youth program. Pastor Patrick O’Tuel and his wife, Kathryn are directors over this ministry with a team of helpers, teachers and assistants. Each service we have, there is always something for all ages to participate in. Your children are also welcome to sit in the Worship service with you anytime you would like.
We teach and preach from the King James Bible. We believe that for the English speaking people, it is the inspired, preserved Word of God.
We sing many of the traditional hymns and songs of the faith. We also sing upbeat choruses. Our church trio performs as well as other soloists that sing a Southern Gospel style of music. The CBC choir sings stirring and uplifting numbers at every Sunday service.
There is no specific dress code for those attending our service. We do however, teach and preach that our dress should honor the Lord and follow the Bible.
We currently are averaging over 400 people in our Sunday morning worship center. Even though the numbers are large, our church has retained a small church feel through small groups and through the genuine friendliness of our people.
While we believe that the church itself is the final authority in all matters of church government, we realize God has given us a pastor to lead us. He is assisted by the deacons of the church.
